Tribeca Developers Appoints Dharam Mehta as Managing Partner for New Villa and Hospitality Vertical

Tribeca Developers has announced the appointment of Dharam Mehta as the Managing Partner of its newly launched vertical, Tribeca Estates. This division will focus on plotted development, branded villas, and hospitality-led real estate projects. The announcement was made on May 7, 2025.

Tribeca Estates marks an expansion into new segments for Tribeca Developers, a company known for its collaboration with the Trump Organization. The move reflects a growing interest among real estate firms in alternative asset classes such as premium villa townships and integrated hospitality projects.

Dharam Mehta brings with him over two decades of experience in real estate investment, workspace strategy, and business development. He holds an MBA in Real Estate from The Wharton School of Finance and a BA in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin.

Before joining Tribeca, Mehta held leadership roles at WeWork India and Phoenix Workspaces. In both organisations, he contributed to the development and execution of growth strategies and was actively involved in large-scale real estate developments. He also played a role in forming strategic partnerships that supported business expansion in the flexible workspaces domain.

In addition to his experience in commercial real estate, Mehta was part of the leadership team at Delta Corp. There, he worked on expanding the company’s footprint in hospitality and gaming. His work involved overseeing the development of new hospitality and casino assets and scaling operations in key markets.

Kalpesh Mehta, Founder of Tribeca Developers, said that Dharam Mehta’s appointment aligns with the company’s broader plans to diversify its portfolio and tap into high-potential real estate segments. According to Kalpesh, the combination of Dharam’s investment expertise and operational experience is expected to drive the success of Tribeca Estates.

Dharam Mehta stated that he looks forward to leading Tribeca’s efforts in plotted developments and hospitality-based projects. He noted the potential in these segments and expressed his intent to leverage his background to establish high-quality, well-executed offerings under the Tribeca Estates banner.

The launch of Tribeca Estates comes on the heels of other recent initiatives by the company. In April 2025, Tribeca launched a rental housing platform named Trilive, which will develop and manage purpose-built rental housing projects. The first project under this platform is planned for Mumbai’s Andheri area.

In March 2025, the firm had also revealed plans for the first Trump-branded commercial office tower in Pune. This project, to be called Trump World Center, will be the Trump Organization’s first commercial office development in India and its second project in Pune.

Tribeca Developers has been actively broadening its footprint within India’s real estate market, and the formation of Tribeca Estates is another step in this direction. With plotted development and villa-led townships seeing rising demand from both end-users and investors, this new vertical is expected to cater to a growing segment of buyers looking for low-density, premium residential options.
