Irfan Razack: Building a Legacy with Prestige Group

Irfan Razack, a name synonymous with success in Indian real estate, took his family's modest beginnings and transformed them into one of the country's leading real estate brands, the Prestige Group. He and his family started Prestige Estates and Constructions in 1986 with just 40,000 rupees (about $3,250 back then). Their first project was a small office building, but as Bangalore transformed into a tech hub, Prestige grew, building homes and offices for the city’s booming tech community. Today, Prestige Group is India’s second-largest listed real estate company.

Over the years, Razack has received many awards, including the Karnataka Rajyotsava Award for his contributions to the industry and community. He was also honored with the Real Estate Excellence Award (2008), the Best Developer Award (2009) from Karnataka’s Town Planning Department, and the Entrepreneur Extraordinaire Award (2010) from Builders Association of India and CREDAI, acknowledging his vision and leadership. 

Beyond real estate, Razack has shown a strong commitment to education. He is the Chairman and Co-Founder of Inventure Academy, Bangalore, and has also served as Honorary Secretary of Al-Ameen Educational Society, President of the Bangalore Commercial Association (BCA), and Chairman of CREDAI.
