Vatika Group Secures 17 LEED Certifications for Residential, Commercial, and Educational Projects in Delhi-NCR
Vatika Group, a well-known real estate developer in the Delhi NCR region, has announced that 17 of its major projects across the region, covering 9.5 million sq. ft., have been awarded LEED certification. Among these, 11 projects have received the prestigious LEED Platinum certification, which is the highest rating for green buildings. This achievement reflects Vatika Group’s commitment to sustainable building practices and its leadership in the industry.
Vatika Group has secured LEED certification for a wide range of projects, including commercial, retail, residential, and educational developments. Notable commercial projects such as Vatika Mindscapes, One On One, and First India Place have earned LEED Platinum certification, while retail and residential developments like V’Lante, Seven Elements, and Sovereign Park have received LEED Gold certifications. These projects demonstrate Vatika’s focus on creating energy-efficient, eco-friendly spaces that meet high environmental standards.
In addition to its commercial and residential developments, Vatika Group has also earned LEED Platinum status for two educational institutions: MatriKiran Junior School and MatriKiran High School. This highlights the company’s dedication to providing sustainable, green spaces in various sectors beyond real estate, contributing to a healthier environment for students and staff.
Vatika Group's achievement is significant because some buildings, which have been standing for over two decades, have received LEED certification without requiring major renovations or updates. This demonstrates the company's commitment to sustainability from the start of the design and construction process.
Mr. Krishan Goyal, AVP – Product Strategy & Risk Management at Vatika Limited, shared his thoughts on the achievement: “We are honored to receive LEED certification for our key projects. This recognition aligns with our ongoing commitment to sustainable development and reflects our vision of creating spaces that meet the highest standards of quality while promoting a greener, healthier future.”
LEED, which is managed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), is a global benchmark for evaluating the environmental performance of buildings. By securing LEED certifications across different types of developments, Vatika Group demonstrates its ongoing commitment to building resilient and sustainable communities.
Sustainability continues to be a core aspect of Vatika Group’s growth strategy, as the company strives to create more energy-efficient spaces that benefit both the environment and the people who use them.
