Tribeca Developers Plans More Trump Luxury Home Launches Across India
Tribeca Developers, the exclusive licensee for Trump Organization-branded luxury properties in India, is set to expand its portfolio with several new projects across the country. According to Kalpesh Mehta, founder of Tribeca Developers, the company is gearing up to launch additional Trump Towers in multiple cities, including Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
Expansion Plans
Tribeca Developers is planning at least four new Trump Towers over the next 12 months. This expansion includes a second Trump Tower in Gurgaon and another Trump project in Mumbai. The company is also exploring opportunities to introduce Trump-branded luxury homes in Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
Two of the company's ongoing projects in Gurgaon and Kolkata are scheduled for completion and delivery later this year. Tribeca Developers previously partnered with the Lodha Group for a Trump-branded project in Mumbai’s Worli area and with Panchshil Realty for a similar project in Pune.
Development Models
Tribeca adopts different development models depending on the location:
- Full-Stack Development Model: In cities like Mumbai, Pune, and Gurgaon, Tribeca undertakes all aspects of the project, including capital investment and construction.
- Partial-Stack Format: In other cities, Tribeca collaborates with local developers and focuses on branding, design, sales, and marketing, without direct involvement in capital or construction.
Market Demand
Kalpesh Mehta is optimistic about the sustained demand for luxury homes in India. He notes that the Trump brand has been well received in all the cities where it has been launched, and he anticipates further growth in this segment. Mehta also sees potential for price escalation in luxury real estate, driven by increasing aspirations and economic growth, particularly in second-tier cities.
Future Ventures
Tribeca Developers is not only considering joint ventures but also exploring the acquisition of land in new markets such as Hyderabad, Chennai, and Chandigarh. The company recently partnered with the Tejukaya Group for its first luxury residential project in Mumbai, which will consist of about 400 units in the Parel area, with an estimated investment of around ₹1,000 crore.
Additionally, Tribeca is eyeing projects in cities like Coimbatore, Raipur, Indore, and Jaipur, with a minimum pricing strategy set at ₹10,000-12,000 per square metre.
Tribeca Developers' ambitious expansion plans signal a strong confidence in the luxury housing market in India. With the introduction of new Trump-branded projects in major cities and strategic collaborations with local developers, Tribeca is poised to enhance its presence and cater to the growing demand for high-end residential properties.
