Actor Randeep Hooda Acquires 1,530 Sq. Ft. Apartment in Versova for ₹5.63 Crore
Indian actor Randeep Hooda has purchased a residential property in Versova, Andheri West, Mumbai, for a consideration of ₹5.63 crore, according to publicly available property registration records. The transaction was officially registered in June 2025 according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards on the website of Inspector General of Registration (IGR).
The property is located in Bianca Co-operative Housing Society Ltd., a residential building situated in Versova, a locality that forms part of the broader Andheri West area. As per the registration details reviewed by real estate portal Square Yards, the apartment has a built-up area of 142.19 square metres, which converts to approximately 1,530 square feet.
In addition to the purchase price of ₹5.63 crore, the transaction involved a stamp duty of ₹33.78 lakh and registration charges amounting to ₹30,000. These charges are in line with prevailing norms in Mumbai for high-value property transactions and reflect the transaction's compliance with state-level registration regulations.
Versova is part of Andheri West, one of Mumbai’s busiest and most sought-after real estate sub-markets. The area is well-connected through key road and metro corridors, including the Western Express Highway, Link Road, SV Road, and the Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar Metro line. This level of access to road and rail transport has made the locality viable for both residential and commercial use.
Over the past decade, Andheri West has witnessed a steady increase in residential demand due to its mixed-use development pattern. The zone houses several co-working spaces, mid- to high-rise apartment complexes, and retail centers. As a result, it remains a preferred location for individuals from the entertainment sector as well as professionals employed in nearby business hubs such as Goregaon, Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), and Lower Parel.
Bianca C.H.S. Ltd., where the actor’s new residence is situated, is one of the several cooperative housing societies that make up the core of Versova’s mid-rise residential clusters. Co-operative housing societies are a common ownership model in Mumbai, with property sales requiring approvals from the society and adherence to statutory formalities during the transfer process.
This transaction adds to the growing number of high-value residential deals being recorded in Mumbai’s western suburbs. While South Mumbai continues to attract marquee buyers, areas like Andheri West and Versova have emerged as serious contenders for premium housing due to their strategic location and growing amenities.
Randeep Hooda, known for his roles in cinema and streaming platforms, joins a long list of actors and professionals who have invested in properties in the Andheri-Versova belt. The western suburbs have become a focal point for such purchases due to a blend of location, infrastructure, and access to production studios and business districts.
The real estate sector in Mumbai has seen stable activity in 2025, with several high-end property transactions taking place across suburban micro-markets. The Greater Mumbai region continues to remain a key investment zone for both end-users and investors, supported by infrastructure upgrades and steady demand in the residential segment.
