Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff has sold his apartment in Khar West, Mumbai for Rs. 9 crore, about 8 years after he had bought it for Rs. 7.61 crore. The deal was registered on October 22, 2026. The property recorded gross appreciation of approximately 18.3% over its original purchase price.
The 9th floor apartment has two covered car parking spaces and was sold as part of the Rustomjee Paramount D Co-operative Housing Society in Khar West. The buyer paid a stamp duty of Rs. 54 lakh, as per property registration documents.
Khar West Flat Sale Registered on October 22
The apartment was purchased from the developer, Keystone Realtors Private Limited, on 17th July 2018 for a price of Rs.7.61 crore. Possession of the property was taken on 30th November 2019. The latest transaction puts the sale price at Rs. 1.39 crore above the original purchase price. However, this difference reflects the increase in the property's transaction value and does not represent the actor’s net profit. Costs such as stamp duty at the time of purchase, registration charges, maintenance, interiors and any applicable taxes would affect the final return.
Inside the Khar West Property
This apartment has a carpet area of 1,291.14 sq.ft. plus 95.80 sq.ft. of exclusive area. It is located within Rustomjee Paramount, a residential development located in the well-known western suburb of Khar West in Mumbai.
Two covered parking spaces are included. The apartment is located in the premium residential segment. Factors like location, area and parking can affect the market value of a property.
Khar West is a well-established residential area in the western suburbs of Mumbai and has good connectivity with commercial areas like the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC). This is one of the factors that can attract potential buyers to purchase property in this area.
The Flat Records 18.3% Appreciation Since 2018
The apartment’s sale for Rs. 9 crore represents an increase of approximately 18.3% over its 2018 purchase price of Rs. 7.61 crore. On a compounded annual basis, the appreciation works out to roughly 2.1% over the period.
While the property’s recorded value rose by Rs. 1.39 crore, the change was spread across several years rather than occurring in a single period.
The calculation is based only on the two reported transaction values. It does not account for inflation, ownership expenses or the costs associated with buying and selling the apartment. It also does not establish how the property performed against other homes in the locality over the same period.
What The Apartment’s Resale Figures Show
The sale provides a record of how the apartment’s transaction value has changed since its purchase in 2018. While the price increased by Rs. 1.39 crore over the period, the figures alone do not establish how the wider Khar West residential market has performed. Other celebrity property transactions include Preity Zinta’s and Saif Ali Khan’s Mumbai apartment sales.
Assessing broader price trends would require comparable resale transactions from similar properties in the locality over the same period. The final financial return on this apartment would also depend on ownership expenses and the costs associated with the sale.
