Celebrity fitness trainer Yasmin Karachiwala has bought not one but two ultra-luxury ocean-facing properties, priced at a cumulative ₹37.5 crores, located at Bandra West, one of the most elite residential micro-markets of the Mumbai realty space. Both the properties are located within the high-end residential property developed by the brand ‘Paradigm’, named Superstar- Signature Edition, or Superstar ‘Marquis Collection’,
As per documents retrieved from the office of Sub-Joint Registrar in Bandra, the property acquired by Karachiwala is a 4-BHK apartment with a carpet area of 1,882 sq ft. The transaction sparked a stamp duty of around ₹83 lakhs, along with a registration fee of ₹3,000, according to sources. The apartments belong to the ocean-facing inventory of the project, which is priced higher owing to its location.
Alongside buying a residential property for herself, Karachiwala also encouraged her niece, Shirin Qureishi, to buy another apartment in the same complex. When combined, the total area acquired by the family is approximately 3,598 sq ft in the prime residential zone of Bandra West.
Paradigm’s Superstar-Signature Edition is classified under a luxury residential project targeting affluent class individuals in need of privacy and exclusivity in their living style and also emphasizing wellness. The project comes under Paradigm Realty’s luxury projects in Mumbai’s Western Suburbs.
Commenting on the transaction, Parthh Mehta, Chairman and Managing Director of Paradigm Realty, said the project represents a blend of global design sensibilities and wellness-led living. He noted that the development draws inspiration from premium residential formats seen in international cities such as Chicago, Dubai, and Shenzhen, with a focus on privacy, longevity, and mindful living. Mehta added that the project’s planning and amenities were key factors influencing buyer interest.
One important aspect which stands out about the developmental work being done here is the focus on superior wellness facilities. This corresponds to Karachiwala’s professional expertise in the health and fitness niche. The superior wellness facilities to be provided include an international-standard gymnasium with a zero-noise green yoga platform and meditation garden, an infrared sauna with healing technology, hyperbaric oxygen treatment chambers, and cryogenic chambers for recoveries.
As per ET Realty, the reason for the purchase as cited by one of the buyers on the condition of anonymity is the provision for performance-grade wellness and recovery facilities that are being offered by the residential complex. Another reason cited by the buyer is the uninterrupted ocean views and the concept of the Ocean Front Sky Villas offered by the project.
Bandra West maintains its appeal as a destination spot for elite purchases as it has proximity to the sea, its social infrastructure, and ease of access to business districts like BKC and Lower Parel. There has been continuous interest in upmarket properties in Bandra West despite market uncertainties as there has been limited land left for development, as well as interest from celebrities and corporate heads.
