Jeetendra Kapoor and Family Sell Andheri Land for ₹855 Crore to NTT Global Data Centers
Veteran Bollywood actor Jeetendra Kapoor and his family have finalized the sale of a major land parcel in Mumbai’s Andheri area for ₹855 crore. The transaction was registered on May 29, 2025, and involves a total area of 9,664.68 square metres, equivalent to roughly 2.39 acres. The buyer is NTT Global Data Centers and Cloud Infrastructure India Private Limited, formerly known as Netmagic IT Services.
The property currently houses the Balaji IT Park, which includes three buildings with a combined built-up area of about 4.9 lakh square feet. The site is located in Andheri, a neighbourhood that has become a significant commercial and residential zone over the past two decades.
The deal was executed through two companies owned by Jeetendra Kapoor and his family—Pantheon Buildcon Private Limited and Tusshar Infra Developers Private Limited. According to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards, the transaction incurred a stamp duty of ₹8.69 crore and registration fees of ₹30,000.
NTT Global Data Centers operates across multiple verticals including cloud services, hosting, data management, cybersecurity, and application development. This acquisition signals the company’s intent to expand its physical infrastructure footprint in one of India’s most economically active cities.
Jeetendra, once a leading actor in Hindi cinema, has long been involved in business ventures beyond film. The Kapoor family, including his children Ekta and Tusshar Kapoor, are active in media and entertainment through companies such as Balaji Telefilms.
The strategic location of the land parcel in Andheri, which lies between Mumbai’s key commercial zones—Bandra-Kurla Complex and Powai—adds to its value. The presence of film studios, corporate offices, and IT parks in the area makes it one of the most sought-after real estate zones in the city.
This sale is among several recent real estate transactions involving Bollywood personalities. In April, singer Alka Yagnik and her daughter purchased an apartment in Oberoi Sky Heights, Andheri West, for ₹11.5 crore. In May, actor Jaideep Ahlawat and his wife bought a property in Andheri West for ₹10 crore. Composer Anu Malik and his wife also sold two apartments in Santacruz West for ₹14.49 crore. Amitabh Bachchan, another veteran of Indian cinema, bought three commercial properties in Andheri West last year for nearly ₹60 crore.
Celebrity-owned properties often attract attention in Mumbai’s competitive real estate market. While such properties may carry a premium due to their former owners, the fundamental value lies in their location, infrastructure, and development potential. The Jeetendra family's transaction with NTT Global Data Centers reflects a convergence of celebrity ownership and commercial opportunity.
