Tribeca Developers Plans ₹7,000 Crore Investment for Four Trump-Branded Projects in India
Tribeca Developers, the licensed partner of The Trump Organisation in India, has announced plans to launch four more Trump-branded real estate projects in 2025. The company expects to invest approximately ₹6,000 to ₹7,000 crore across these developments, which will include three residential projects and one commercial office project in Pune.
Kalpesh Mehta, Founder of Tribeca Developers, stated that the commercial office project in Pune would require an investment of ₹1,700 crore. He clarified that The Trump Organisation does not contribute financially to these projects but provides its brand and expertise in the luxury segment. The Pune office project is being developed in partnership with Pune-based Kundan Spaces, with both companies sharing the investment and revenue.
The ₹1,700 crore required for the Pune project will be sourced through a combination of equity, debt, and sales proceeds. The three upcoming residential projects under the Trump brand are expected to be announced in the coming months, with all projects slated for a 2025 launch.
While Tribeca Developers has not yet disclosed specific locations, Mehta confirmed that the three residential projects would be situated in North and South India. He also mentioned that there are no immediate plans for a Trump-branded project in Mumbai, though the company continues to explore opportunities in the city.
The Trump World Center in Pune is The Trump Organisation’s first commercial office project in India. It is being developed on a 4.3-acre plot along North Main Road in Pune’s Koregaon Park Annexe. The project will cover 1.6 million square feet and include commercial office spaces and retail areas within two 27-story towers.
Tribeca Developers is working with Kundan Spaces to develop the project. The company stated that while the Trump World Center is the only commercial office project under the Trump brand in India, future expansions into commercial spaces will be assessed after the completion of the Pune project.
Tribeca Developers has been actively expanding its portfolio of Trump-branded properties in India. The company’s strategy involves leveraging The Trump Organisation’s brand while taking full responsibility for project execution and investment. The Trump brand, associated with luxury real estate, continues to attract buyers in the Indian market.
Mehta emphasized that the partnership with The Trump Organisation is based on brand licensing rather than financial collaboration. This means Tribeca handles the funding, construction, and management of the projects, while The Trump Organisation provides branding and design expertise.
India has become a key market for Trump-branded properties, with existing projects in cities such as Pune, Mumbai, and Kolkata. The upcoming projects reflect continued demand for luxury real estate under the Trump brand.
The company is optimistic about the growth of the premium real estate segment in India. Tribeca Developers aims to strengthen its presence by expanding into both residential and commercial developments in strategic locations across the country.
