Across India’s real estate sector, developers are exploring AI, drones, digital monitoring and predictive analytics to track execution, identify potential delays and communicate progress with greater visibility. The shift is positive for the industry: technology is helping developers move from reactive project management towards more proactive and measurable execution.

Drones and digital site-monitoring tools can provide frequent visual and data-based updates from large construction sites, creating a consistent record of progress. This can help project teams compare actual execution with planned milestones and identify areas requiring intervention. AI Moves Construction Monitoring From Reactive to Predictive

The latest EY-Parthenon-CREDAI report on GenAI in Indian real estate highlights predictive schedule and cost-overrun forecasting, drone-based quality control and smart material planning as important applications of AI in project execution. According to EY, these applications could reduce project overruns by 10-20% and increase workforce productivity by 20-50%.
