Bengaluru, 8 September 2026: Concorde, a leading real estate developer in Bengaluru, has recently acquired a significant land parcel in Electronic City, acquiring a total development opportunity of approximately 4 acres for a premium residential project. The transaction comprises an outright purchase of around 2 acres, with 1 acre of land being acquired through a Joint Development Agreement (JDA). The acquisition of the additional 1 acre has been completed in principle, with paperwork expected to be completed in the next few days. The overall project is expected to have approximately 5.25 lakh sq. ft. of built-up area and a Gross Development Value (GDV) in the range of around ₹600 crore. Strategically located in Electronic City, the project will be a purely residential development comprising premium 2 and 3 BHK apartments supported by a thoughtfully planned suite of amenities and lifestyle features. Concorde is investing approximately ₹56 crore towards the land cost for the project.

Commenting on the acquisition, Anil RG, Managing Director, Concorde, said,

“Our growth strategy has always been centred on identifying high-growth-potential micro-markets where we see strong fundamentals, sustained demand and the potential to create long-term value. Electronic City is one such market, and this land parcel fits well with our approach. Its location, scale and development potential make it particularly suited to Concorde’s philosophy of creating well-planned, quality homes in strategically chosen locations. We will bring the same focus on design, construction quality and customer experience that has shaped our developments across Bengaluru to this project. Incidentally, our first project was in Electronic City and till date we have developed over 4 million sq. ft. across over 10 apartment and villa projects in the area.”

Electronic City continues to be one of Bengaluru’s important residential and employment corridors, supported by its established technology ecosystem, connectivity and expanding social infrastructure. The micro-market has evolved beyond being an office destination, with increasing demand for premium residential developments that offer proximity to workplaces while providing a comprehensive lifestyle environment.
