Realty firm Omaxe has secured a prestigious project from the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to develop a sports complex and retail project in Dwarka, New Delhi. The project, valued at ₹2,100 crore, marks a significant investment in the infrastructure of the national capital.

The project, to be developed under the "Design Build Finance and Operate" model, will encompass a sprawling 50-acre area. It will feature an outdoor stadium with a seating capacity of at least 30,000, designed to host international cricket and football matches. Additionally, indoor sports facilities, including a cricket-cum-football stadium and facilities for tennis, badminton, squash, and table tennis, will cater to a wide range of sporting activities.

Omaxe aims to deliver world-class sports infrastructure that meets global standards, enhancing the city's reputation as a hub for sporting events. The project also includes plans for a membership-based sports club with a significant number of members, further promoting active lifestyles within the community.

In addition to sports facilities, the project will incorporate a retail area, providing spaces for shopping, dining, and sports-related activities. This integrated approach seeks to create a vibrant destination that caters to the diverse needs and interests of residents and visitors alike.

Chairman Rohtas Goel expressed enthusiasm about the project, highlighting its potential to elevate the city's infrastructure and stimulate economic growth.
