Nirala World Acquires 2.5-Acre Land in Greater Noida for Commercial Development
Nirala World has purchased a 2.5-acre commercial land parcel in Greater Noida for Rs 175 crore. The land was acquired through an auction conducted by the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA). This acquisition is part of the company’s strategy to expand its commercial real estate portfolio in the Delhi-NCR region.
The purchased land, measuring 10,400 square metres, will be used to develop an 8 lakh square feet commercial project. The project will feature retail spaces, a high street, a food court, a multiplex, and office spaces. According to the company, the total development potential of the project is approximately 7.87 lakh square feet.
Suresh Garg, Chairman and Managing Director of Nirala World, stated that this is the company’s second commercial project in Greater Noida. Previously, in October 2024, Nirala World acquired a 2.6-acre land parcel in Sector 10, Greater Noida West, for its first commercial project.
In addition to its commercial developments, Nirala World is actively engaged in residential real estate. The company is currently developing a luxury residential project called ‘Nirala Trio’ in Sector 2, Greater Noida West. This project includes 400 residential units, with 40 percent of the units already sold.
Nirala World has also made significant progress in its 25-acre residential project, Nirala Estate, located in Greater Noida West. The project comprises 4,050 housing units. Of these, 3,600 units have been delivered to buyers, and the remaining 450 units are scheduled for handover soon as part of the final phase.
The company has indicated its intent to expand further in the Delhi-NCR region, including entering the Gurugram market for both commercial and residential projects. Nirala World aims to tap into the growing demand for office and retail spaces in urban areas while continuing to focus on residential developments.
The real estate market in 2024 presented mixed trends. While housing supply slowed, the sector witnessed record investments. Experts predict that demand may stabilize in 2025, with sales expected to be lower than in 2023. Despite this outlook, Nirala World has remained proactive in acquiring land and planning new projects.
This recent land acquisition highlights Nirala World’s focus on growth and diversification. By investing in both commercial and residential developments, the company aims to address varied market needs and expand its footprint in the region.
