The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has commenced the registration process for flats in its landmark residential project, DDA Towering Heights, currently under construction in Karkardooma, East Delhi. Officials announced the opening of registrations on Friday, marking a major step for prospective homebuyers in the capital.
The registration window will be open from October 31 to November 21. In the initial phase, the agency is offering 1,026 premium two-bedroom-hall-kitchen (BHK) apartments, with base reserve prices ranging from ₹1.78 crore to ₹3.09 crore. The flats span 142 sqm to 250 sqm, catering to families and professionals seeking modern, well-connected housing.
“Spanning 30 hectares, the East Delhi Hub is being developed as a world-class mixed-use urban center that integrates residential, commercial, and civic spaces within a lively, walkable environment,” the DDA stated, highlighting the broader vision for the project.
Once completed, Towering Heights will become the tallest building in Delhi, with 48 storeys reaching a height of 155 metres, redefining the city skyline. Strategically located next to the Karkardooma Interchange Metro Station, the project offers direct access to both the Blue and Pink Lines, providing seamless connectivity across the city.
The development also enjoys excellent road connectivity via NH-9, NH-24, and other major routes connecting Central, East, and South Delhi. It is situated close to Anand Vihar Railway Station and ISBT, making it convenient for daily commuters and residents alike.
Officials emphasized that the project is the first under DDA’s Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) initiative, designed to promote urban growth around public transport hubs. “Developed as the inaugural project under the Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) initiative, the flats are nearing completion and are expected to be handed over by July 2026,” the statement added.
At the time of auction, successful bidders will need to pay 75% of the flat cost upfront, with the remaining 25% due by July 2026, aligning with the expected possession date. This phased payment structure is intended to simplify the purchase process while ensuring timely project completion.
Real estate experts say that areas like Karkardooma are increasingly attractive to buyers due to their strong connectivity, access to public transport, and growing commercial and civic infrastructure. Large-scale developments like Towering Heights are expected to set new standards in urban living in East Delhi.
