Jaideep Ahlawat Acquires Second Mumbai Apartment; Spends Rs. 20 Crore on Real Estate in Two Months
Actor Jaideep Ahlawat and his wife Jyoti Hooda have purchased a second residential property in Mumbai’s Andheri West area, marking their second transaction in the same housing project within a span of just two months. The couple has now spent a total of Rs. 20 crore on two apartments in Poorna Apartments, a residential building located in a well-connected part of the city.
According to official records reviewed by Square Yards on the Maharashtra Inspector General of Registration (IGR) website, the most recent apartment was registered in June 2025. This follows their earlier purchase in May 2025, also in Poorna Apartments. Both transactions involve apartments located on different floors of the same building and feature similar layouts and area specifications.
June 2025 Transaction Details
The second apartment, purchased in June 2025, is valued at Rs. 10 crore. As per registration records, it offers a carpet area of 1,950 square feet (~181 square metres) and a built-up area of 217.47 square metres (~2,341 square feet). This transaction includes two car parking spaces. The buyers paid Rs. 60 lakh in stamp duty and Rs. 30,000 in registration fees.
May 2025 Transaction Details
The first property, registered in May 2025, was also purchased for Rs. 10 crore. This unit matches the June apartment in both carpet and built-up area, maintaining consistency in configuration. However, it includes four car parking spaces instead of two. This transaction also attracted a stamp duty payment of Rs. 60 lakh and registration charges of Rs. 30,000.
Andheri West continues to be a key location for premium real estate transactions in Mumbai. The locality benefits from strong transport connectivity, including access to the Western Express Highway, Link Road, SV Road, and the Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar Metro corridor.
