Cushman & Wakefield Appoints Supriya Chatterjee as MD for North India, Emphasizing Growth and Inclusion

Cushman & Wakefield, a leading real estate services firm in India, has announced the appointment of Supriya Chatterjee as Managing Director for North India, following Vibhor Jain's departure to pursue a new venture in the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) sector.

In her new role, Supriya will head the firm’s operations in the Delhi-NCR region, with a focus on driving growth and strengthening client relationships across the northern market, including Jaipur. She plans to capitalize on emerging opportunities within one of India’s most vibrant real estate sectors.

With a rich background in the industry, Supriya has been an integral part of Cushman & Wakefield since 2015, leading the office brokerage business for North India. Her deep market insights and strong client relationships have been key to the firm’s growth, especially in the office leasing segment. Supriya has facilitated numerous high-value transactions and managed commercial real estate portfolios for both global and local clients, establishing Cushman & Wakefield as a trusted partner in the Delhi-NCR region.

“Supriya has played a critical role in driving our growth in North India. Her extensive experience, deep market knowledge and ability to build strong teams give us confidence that she will achieve the ambitious growth targets we have set,” said Anshul Jain, Chief Executive India & SE Asia & APAC Tenant Representation at Cushman & Wakefield.

Commenting on her new role, Supriya shared, “I am excited to build on our strong foundation and explore new opportunities to expand our presence and deliver exceptional value to our clients. My focus will be on fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team, nurturing talent and driving innovation.”

In addition to her business responsibilities, Supriya is the leader of the Women’s Integrated Network (WIN) at Cushman & Wakefield, where she mentors emerging female leaders, reflecting her commitment to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.

Supriya holds an MBA from Apeejay School of Management and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), underscoring her strong academic background and professional credentials.

With Supriya Chatterjee leading the way, Cushman & Wakefield is set for a new phase of growth in North India. She aims to strengthen client relationships, elevate business growth and seize new market opportunities, aligning with the company’s goals for the region. The Delhi-NCR real estate market is expected to keep growing, with increasing demand for office spaces, commercial properties and high-end homes.

As the real estate market changes with economic trends, Cushman & Wakefield’s focus on strong leadership and developing talent makes it well-prepared to meet client needs. With steady interest rates, government support and a positive economic outlook, the firm remains optimistic about the future in the Delhi-NCR region, with Supriya’s leadership playing a key role in its success.
