Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's ₹250-crore Mumbai Home Completed, But Fans Are Not Impressed

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have completed their dream home in Mumbai’s Bandra, a lavish property reportedly worth ₹250 crore. The home has been in the spotlight for some time, as the couple and Ranbir’s mother, Neetu Kapoor, were frequently seen visiting the construction site. Their one-year-old daughter, Raha Kapoor, has also been spotted at the property. The six-story building has been named KrishnaRaj Bungalow after Ranbir's late grandmother, Krishna Raj Kapoor, adding a personal touch to the family’s new residence.

The building's exterior is designed with grey and light blue tones, featuring large windows and glass balconies. However, despite the hype surrounding the property and the hefty price tag, many fans have expressed disappointment with the final look of the house. Several images and videos  shared by a paparazzos on social media showed the nearly completed building, which led to a flood of comments on social media. Some fans felt the design was too ordinary for a celebrity home of this scale. One comment remarked, "Come to Punjabi Bagh or Prithviraj Road in Delhi, this is not a bungalow, this is a builder's floor." Others added that the home resembled "office cabins" and lacked the garden and natural beauty they expected from such a high-profile residence.

Comments like, "I thought it was Elvish's new house" and "It looks so similar to Elvish's house" highlighted how underwhelming some people found the final design. Despite the public's mixed reactions, the home has become one of the most expensive celebrity properties in Mumbai. 

Although the aesthetics may not have pleased everyone, the sentimental value of the house adds another layer to its significance. According to a Bollywood Life report, Ranbir plans to dedicate the home to his daughter, Raha, by naming it after her. This would make Raha Kapoor the youngest and richest star kid in Bollywood, adding yet another unique aspect to the property.

As the house is almost ready for occupancy, there is growing speculation about the Kapoor family’s future living arrangements. Reports suggest that Ranbir, Alia, and Raha may soon be joined by Neetu Kapoor under one roof, a move that would further cement the family’s close-knit bond. Currently, the trio is living at Vastu, a different residence, but the new home seems poised to bring the entire family together.
