Rajasthan Housing Board Earns ₹155.62 Crore from Premium Property Sales

Jaipur: The Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) successfully conducted an auction of high-end residential and commercial properties, earning a total of ₹155.62 crore. The auction took place between February 3 and February 5, with properties located in cities like Jaipur, Hanumangarh, Bhiwadi, and Bharatpur.

The auction featured a mix of premium properties, including both large and small commercial plots, as well as constructed flats. Among the 60-plus properties put up for sale, 44 were successfully sold. This strong response indicates that people continue to have confidence in Rajasthan Housing Board properties, even in the premium segment.

Dr. Rashmi Sharma, the Housing Commissioner, stated, "We managed to sell 44 out of the 60-odd properties listed in the auction. All these are of premium categories. This shows people have faith in RHB even in premium categories."

City-Wise Revenue Breakdown

The RHB provided a detailed breakdown of the earnings from different locations:

  • Jaipur led the way with ₹132.37 crore in sales.
  • Bharatpur properties contributed ₹3.53 crore.
  • Bhiwadi sales amounted to ₹6.97 crore.
  • Hanumangarh brought in ₹15.92 crore.

More Auctions Coming Soon

The Housing Board is not stopping here. More rounds of auctions for premium properties are scheduled on the following dates:

  • February 10 to 12
  • February 17 to 19
  • February 24 to 27

This auction success highlights the growing demand for premium properties in Rajasthan. The revenue generated from these sales will likely be reinvested in infrastructure development and new housing projects across the state. For buyers and investors, these auctions present an opportunity to own properties in prime locations through a transparent and government-backed process.
