Oberoi Realty Plans Twin Tower Development Near Mumbai's Three Sixty West

Oberoi Realty, renowned for its ultra-luxury development, Three Sixty West, in Mumbai, is set to embark on a new project that promises to redefine the city's skyline. The real estate developer has acquired a 3.2-acre land parcel located just 400 meters away from its iconic Three Sixty West tower in Worli. This new development aims to replicate the success and grandeur of its predecessor.

Pravin Mahadik, Assistant Vice President of Redevelopment projects at Oberoi Realty, confirmed that the new project will be situated diagonally across Dr. Annie Besant Road and will be developed within the Adarsh Nagar colony, managed by the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA).

Adarsh Nagar, constructed in the 1950s, was originally intended to provide affordable housing for economically weaker sections (EWS) of society. Over the years, the landscape has evolved, with Oberoi Realty's visionary approach poised to transform the area into a symbol of luxury and opulence.

The redevelopment initiative involves a collaboration with the Shramik Cooperative Housing Society, one of the 18 cooperative housing societies within Adarsh Nagar. As part of the agreement, Oberoi Realty plans to demolish the existing structures in the Shramik Society and replace them with two towering structures, each standing 44 storeys tall.

The redevelopment plan prioritizes the welfare of existing residents, offering them larger apartments with double the space of their current dwellings. Additionally, each family is set to receive substantial financial benefits, including a corpus amount and monthly transit rent for a designated period.

The project's architectural design and construction will adhere to Oberoi Realty's signature style, ensuring a seamless blend of luxury and functionality. Vikas Oberoi, the Chairman and Managing Director of the company, will oversee the final decisions regarding the project's execution.

Furthermore, plans are underway to incorporate a sister complex of the renowned 360 West luxury tower within the development. This strategic move underscores Oberoi Realty's commitment to setting new benchmarks in the Mumbai real estate market.
