India will host the International Real Estate Conference (IREC) for the first time, with Hyderabad set to hold the seventh edition of IREC from September 25–27, 2026, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre.

What Is IREC 2026?

IREC India 2026 is expected to draw over 1,500 delegates from more than 35 countries, including developers, investors, policymakers, financial institutions, technology firms and industry bodies. The theme, "The Door to What Happens Next," will frame discussions around shifting economic priorities, cross-border investment, AI, PropTech and DeepTech, sustainable development, changing workplace patterns, and new models of real estate ownership.

Organisers say the event will give Indian real estate players a direct line to global markets, investors and best practices, while giving India a chance to showcase its growth story to an international audience.

Why Hyderabad Was Chosen for IREC 2026

Hyderabad was picked for the debut edition on the strength of its infrastructure, tech and services base, and active real estate market — factors organisers say mirror the broader shifts reshaping the industry.

Sumanth Reddy Arani, Chairman of the National Association of Realtors-India, called it a milestone moment, saying Indian developers and projects now operate at global standards and need stronger platforms to engage international markets directly.

IREC 2026 Chair Shailender Singh described the event as a platform to connect India with global real estate trends driven by technology, capital, sustainability and evolving urban development.

Three Platforms in One Event

IREC 2026 will run three linked platforms:

  • The core International Real Estate Conference

  • A PropTech and Real Estate Innovation Showcase

  • A Luxury Property Expo

Together, these span knowledge-sharing, investment, technology and consumer-facing real estate.

MSN Group Chairman & Managing Director Dr. MSN Reddy, whose company is Title Sponsor, tied the event to India's Viksit Bharat 2047 ambitions, noting MSN Realty has over 4 million sq. ft. under construction and a roadmap to 20 million sq. ft.

12 Key Themes at IREC 2026

Discussions across the two conference days will cover 12 themes, including:

  • Global economic shifts and real estate

  • The next era of urbanism

  • Cross-border real estate marketplaces

  • Branded residences

  • PropTech and DeepTech disruption

  • India's emerging greenfield cities

  • Affordable housing at scale

  • Real estate tokenization

  • AI and hybrid work's impact on global workspaces

Collabathon: A B2B Platform for Global Deals

A dedicated feature, Collabathon, will connect Indian developers and professionals with international investors and business networks for long-term partnerships. MSN Realty's Head of Sales and Marketing, Venkat Ramana Bandi, spoke to the growing role of real estate consultants as ecosystem partners rather than pure sales channels.

Global Participation: NAR President to Attend

International participation will include Kevin Brown, President of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the world's largest real estate trade body, representing 1.4 million members  along with leaders from NAR's partner associations and delegations from other markets.

What This Means for Indian Real Estate

Organisers frame IREC 2026 as arriving at a moment when Indian real estate is maturing in design, technology and customer experience, with the event expected to open up cross-border partnerships, investment talks, referral networks and technology collaborations.
