ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited has made a significant acquisition in Mumbai's commercial real estate market. The firm purchased a substantial commercial office space located in Santacruz East, near the Mumbai International Airport. 

The deal encompasses 1,464 square meters of land and a commercial building comprising 12 floors, spread across an area of 63,000 square feet. This expansive office space was acquired for a total consideration of ₹315 crores. The transaction also includes 114 car parking spaces, which is a valuable addition given the parking constraints in Mumbai. The deal was registered on June 27, 2024, and a substantial stamp duty of over ₹18 crore was paid, underscoring the magnitude of the transaction.

The seller in this office space was Ixora Properties Pvt Ltd, which is part of the renowned Kalpataru Group, a significant player in Mumbai's real estate development sector. Despite the public interest in this substantial transaction, neither Kalpataru nor ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Pvt Ltd have provided comments on the sale.

This purchase by ICICI Prudential AMC highlights the ongoing demand for premium office spaces in Mumbai, especially in strategically located areas such as Santacruz East.
