Housr Launches Luxury Managed Short Stays to Cater to Corporate Travelers
Housr, a luxury managed living brand, is expanding its offerings to include short-stay accommodations to cater to the growing demand from corporate travellers. Over the past 18 months, the brand has seen significant growth, with occupancy rates exceeding 90% across its existing 70+ properties in major cities. This expansion into the short-stay segment reflects Housr's commitment to providing flexible and high-quality living solutions, particularly as the corporate travel sector continues to grow.
According to a recent report, India's corporate travel market, valued at over USD 10.6 billion, is set to grow at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 10.1% to reach USD 20.8 billion by FY30. This growth is largely driven by the increasing demand for personalized, tech-enabled, and sustainable solutions tailored to the needs of business travellers.
Housr’s decision to venture into the short-stay market comes in response to feedback from its existing residents. Approximately 30-40% of current Housr residents expressed a desire for a streamlined, corporate-friendly version of the brand’s offering. This feedback highlighted a clear gap in the market for quality, flexible accommodations designed for professionals on the move. As a result, Housr is introducing bespoke rooms within its properties, specifically dedicated to corporate short stays.
The new offering is set to enhance the corporate travel experience, particularly during peak periods, such as year-end travel. By focusing on business professionals within the age group of 25 to 40 years, the brand is positioning itself to meet the needs of a growing market segment seeking flexible accommodation solutions that blend comfort and functionality. Housr aims to cater to this demand with a premium experience at value pricing, in line with its established reputation.
Deepak Anand, Founder & CEO of Housr, shared his thoughts on the expansion: “Since its inception, Housr has witnessed exceptional demand for short-term stays, signalling a gap in the market. We are now set to fill that gap with Housr Short Stays. Inspired by the growing corporate travel market and feedback from our residents, we are expanding to provide tailored, flexible solutions that meet the needs of today’s professionals.”
Housr’s foray into the short-stay segment will be supported by the company’s ongoing growth plans. In Quarter 1 of 2025, Housr will launch 10 new properties, adding to its existing portfolio of over 70 properties in cities like Gurugram, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, and Vizag. The target audience for these short-stay accommodations will primarily be business and corporate travellers, who are expected to benefit from Housr’s strategic location in key cities.
The company is also working to establish partnerships with multiple corporations to streamline its offerings further and ensure that it provides a seamless experience for corporate clients. This collaboration will help Housr meet the demands of businesses seeking reliable, comfortable, and efficient accommodation solutions for their employees and visiting professionals.
To cater to the needs of corporate travellers, Housr will continue to offer its standard services, which include professional housekeeping, on-demand laundry, breakfast and dinner buffets, high-speed WiFi, and 3-tier security. Additionally, personal care essentials, grooming kits, and shower supplies will be included in the short-stay packages to ensure that business professionals have a comfortable and convenient experience during their stay.
