Awfis to Oversee Design, Construction, and Management of NSE Office in Mumbai

Awfis Space Solutions has announced a new project in collaboration with the National Stock Exchange (NSE) in Mumbai. This project will involve designing, building, and managing an office space of approximately 1.65 lakh square feet at the Adani Inspire building, located in the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), one of Mumbai’s key business districts. This marks Awfis’s second project within this building, emphasizing the growing partnership between the company and NSE.

For this project, Awfis will manage two floors of the building, dedicated to the NSE. This marks a significant addition to its portfolio, especially given the prestige of working with one of India’s major financial institutions. The arrangement with NSE was facilitated by Rounak Real Estate Consultant, a real estate consulting firm that helped bring both parties together.

Amit Ramani, the Managing Director of Awfis, highlighted the significance of this partnership. He pointed out that the BKC location adds considerable value, as it is one of Mumbai’s most prominent business districts. Ramani also emphasized that the project demonstrates Awfis’s ability to provide office solutions tailored to the needs of large organizations, offering flexible office spaces that can adapt to their changing requirements.

Over the past few years, Awfis has seen considerable growth. The company now operates around 205 centers across 18 cities in India, offering over 1.3 lakh seats. This expansion reflects the growing demand for flexible office spaces in the country, especially as businesses increasingly adopt remote and hybrid work models. Furthermore, Awfis has reported strong financial results.

For the second quarter of the 2024-25 financial year, the company posted a net profit of ₹38.67 crore, marking a significant turnaround from a loss of ₹4.34 crore during the same period last year. Additionally, its income grew by 40.31%, reaching ₹301.95 crore, driven by the expansion into new markets and the continued demand for flexible workspaces.

The flexible workspace market in India has experienced significant growth, driven in part by the rise of remote and hybrid work. Many companies are now seeking office spaces that can be scaled up or down to meet changing business needs. Awfis has positioned itself to meet this demand by offering flexible office solutions.

The company aims to further expand its footprint in India and provide even more customizable office spaces to accommodate businesses across various sectors.
